What are IPL Treatments?
IPL is a cosmetic treatment that stands for intense pulsed light.
It is a type of light therapy that can address several skin conditions without injuring the skin’s surface.
IPL can minimize or remove age spots, sun damage, pigmentation, varicose veins, rosacea and more!
When IPL laser treatments are used on the face for rejuvenation purposes, they are commonly
referred to as photofacials. However, students learn that photofacials can be used on just about
any part of the body, including the back, chest, neck, arms and hands.

The IPL Photofacial delivers intense pulses of light to the skin. The light penetrates deep into the skin, constricting the blood vessels and stimulating the creation of collagen.
The IPL device (a small, handheld wand) delivers multiple wavelengths (broad spectrum) of light, which target the lower layer of skin (dermis). It is designed to simultaneously remove the effects of damaged and photo-aged skin while stimulating collagen growth.
